There are 2.4 million prisoners in the United States…
10% of them are Christians…
70% of them will return to prison within three years…

Who will be there to meet our brothers and sisters at the gate,
to teach them what it means to live in a community,
and to reconstruct the familyMost of Them Never Had?

Please join Immanuel United Reformed Church, Mid America Reformed Seminary and Koinonia House Ministries as they explain a hands-on Biblical discipleship model to equip the Church
to love and embrace Christians neighbors coming out of prison in Indiana and Illinois.

Koinonia House® National Ministries exists to equip the Church to love and mentor our Christian brothers and sisters before and after their release. Their Bible-based discipleship program allows churches and organizations associated with local churches to actively follow Jesus’ final instruction to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28: 19).

The goal is to equip the Church to grasp the need for post-jail ministry, to teach ways that actively reduce the recidivism rate through the context of the Church, and develop a group of churches and personnel who will bridge the gap for our Christian neighbors as they re-enter society.
